Welcome and thank you for choosing Sensor Net Connect for monitoring your equipment via SNMP. This guide will walk you through the steps to configure and integrate your Sensor Net Connect device into your network infrastructure.
Download and install Microchip Ethernet Discoverer
First, you need to find the IP address that has been assigned to your Sensor Net Connect. To do so, follow these steps:
- Download the software Microchip Ethernet Discoverer.
- Run the program on a computer connected to the same network as your Sensor Net Connect.
- Locate your Sensor Net Connect in the list of detected devices. Its IP address will be displayed in the corresponding column.
Access the Sensor Net Connect web interface
Once the IP address has been retrieved, you can access the device’s configuration interface.
Open a web browser and enter the IP address of the Sensor Net Connect in the address bar.
- You will be prompted to enter a username and password. Use the following credentials:

- Username:
IP Address Configuration
You now have access to the Sensor Net Connect management interface. You can choose to modify the IP address and set it to a fixed (static) address for easier network management.
- In the web interface menu, click on System Configuration.
- Locate the section related to network settings.
- You can choose to set a static IP address by entering your preferred settings (IP address, subnet mask, gateway, etc.).
- Once the changes have been made, click on Save to apply them.
Enable SNMP
- In the web interface menu, click on System Configuration.
- Locate the SNMP section.
- Fill in the required parameters.
- Once the changes have been made, click on Save to apply them.
Download the MIB file
To integrate the data from your Sensor Net Connect into your SNMP system, you need to download the MIB file. Click the following link to download the file:

SNMP Integration
Your Sensor Net Connect is now ready to work with your SNMP infrastructure. You can integrate the device into your monitoring system by using the information provided by the device (OID, MIB, etc.) to start monitoring connected sensors.
Sensor Identification in the MIB file:
- Temperature sensors are identified as

.
