Installing Net Device Manager

Prerequisites

Net Device Manager must be installed on a Windows machine:

  • On a physical or virtual machine, not dedicated
  • Running Windows 7 or higher, including Windows Server
  • Operating 24/7 with sleep mode disabled
  • On the same network as the FoxNet or Sensor Net Connect
  • In the case of a subnet or a remote site over VPN, it must be possible to ping the Sensor Net Connect or FoxNet Controller

Download Net Device Manager from
http://thermobouton.fr/ftp/plugandtrack/Thermotrack-Webserve/NetDeviceManager/Install_NetDeviceManager.exe

Double-click on the downloaded file and follow the installation steps.

Check that Windows services have been started correctly. All lights must be green

If one of the LEDs is red :

  • Close Net Device Manager (Password = netdevice)
  • Go to the directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Proges-Plus\NetDeviceManager

Right-click on the Net DeviceManager.exe file and select ” Open as administrator “.

If the Internet Connectivity LED is red, you may be using a proxy. Enter the available parameters in the “Tools” menu
